Highlights
Women's Centre Spring and Summer Programming
Our 2010 sping and summer programming has begun. Morning Yarn, Clothing Boutique, and Drop-In Program are ongoing, and new sessions of Empowerment Group have begun. Read More.
Capital Campaign Progress
The site of our new facility is located near the corner of Cashin Avenue Extension & Campbell Avenue in St. John’s (160-174 Cashin Avenue Extension). We are currently developing final design details and fund development is progressing steadily. Read more.
Women's Centre Back-to- School Program
It’s that time of year again! As children prepare to return to school, financial stress returns to many parents. Every year the Women’s Centre provides backpacks filled with supplies to children whose parents feel the overwhelming financial burden of the season. Last year we were able to provide ongoing support for school aged children and their families throughout the year! With your help we can make it possible once again. Please help a child return to school well prepared this year.
For only $50 you can provide a child with the tools to prosper and grow successfully all year round!
