Volunteer Drop-in Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities

This volunteer role involves socializing with women, providing peer support on a variety of issues, as well as preparing and serving food and refreshments.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

Persons interested in this role must be open-minded, non-judgmental, and possess strong interpersonal skills. A certificate of good conduct from the RNC is required for this position.  Previous experience in peer support and crisis intervention would be beneficial.

 

Commitment Required

Shifts are in the afternoon or evening and last for 2-4 hours.
